The next generation textphone solution for the World Wide Web

TalkByText Web Edition complements the other versions of TalkByText (Windows version and the Mobile Edition), offering realtime text calls over the World Wide Web. While not as rich in features as the Windows version, it does make it easier for deaf and hard of hearing people who are away from their own PC to make conversational text calls.

As the most recent addition to the TalkByText Overview family, the Web Edition further increases access to real-time text communication for deaf and hard of hearing people.

Just as its siblings for Windows and for mobiles, the Web version offers calls to and from other real-time text platforms as well as to hearing people via a text relay service.

While it cannot provide the same rich functionality as the Windows version, because it runs in a web browser, you can use it almost everywhere that you have Internet access (provided JavaScript is supported and enabled). So, you could make real-time text conversations when away from your own machine, in an Internet cafe, etc. And because it is a web application, you can use it as easily from abroad as from the comfort of your own home.
