At the 7th World Congress of the International Federation of Hard of Hearing People in Helsinki, Guido Gybels, Director of New Technologies at RNID, spoke before an international audience about the development of the Information Society and the impact of this on deaf and hard of hearing people. Mr Gybels called for a double strategy, alleviating as well as proactively changing technology from the inside out.
