In order to become a ski instructor then there is often the requirement of being a near perfect skier having mastered hours and km of ski courses. Courses often have around 50 students all trying to master the art of teaching ski newbies. Courses normally consist of completing many snowploughs in the snow and high speed carving and followed by hours of teaching sessions. Depending on the course, sessions can last up to 12 hours a day 5 days a week for up to 4 weeks.  On completing the courses newly qualified ski instructor can expect to earn up to £30,000 per ski season.
