The Alliance for Digital Inclusion (ADI) appointed a consortium led by RNID and supported by the Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) and leading technology development consultancy Scientific Generics to research the use of information and communication technology (ICT) by disabled people.
The project ran from autumn 2005 to spring 2006. We investigated how disabled people use information and communication and created a wide ranging debate about how technology can be used to overcome the barriers that disabled people face in today's world.
The project resulted in the launch of the "eInclusion Charter", intended to drive positive collaboration between business, government and the third sector.
